Lingering. Lingering. Lingering! Lingering still! When it lingers so long! I wonder! What’s real?! Surely not this? Surely not that? It has lingered so long! No longer sure of the source! Linger! Linger! Linger! Linger! Linger! Oh, it’s gone. What was it again? What is it? Will I know? Will I remember? Have you ever noticed that it takes far more than just three licks to get to the center? A million licks and you aren’t any closer. Brendan made it there, why can’t I? Is it because I dont play pretend as a fat guy? I wonder, it lingers. It lingers, I wonder. You can make a lingering potion with dragon’s breath. I wonder if I myself would linger, after my death? It is a strange phenomenon, one I do not wish to know. Keep on lingering, I won’t know.
